CRFNC Board 2020

Thank you to the die-hard members who turned up to last Sunday's Annual General Meeting and showed their support for the CRFNC. Nothing happens in our Club - or any Club for that matter - without the volunteers who put their hand up and provide support for the strategic planning, operations and day-to-day activities that keep our Club on the up. If you do contribute, you know who you are. If you don't contribute, then maybe it's time you did - and you can start in 2020 with several small roles still needing people to jump in.
Massive thanks for the efforts of Derek Owens, who has stood down as CRFNC Club President. Derek poured seemingly limitless energy into growing our Club, increasing our commercial focus, leading efforts to attract sponsorship and external funds and generally raise the profile of the Hoppers in our community and beyond. Thank you for your passion and leadership Derek.
Massive thanks also to Barry Dennis who has stepped aside as Director Junior Football and Netball. Baz brought a unique energy to the role that enabled every junior Hopper to understand that they were important to our Club and that they were part of a very special sporting Community. Baz's role has not been filled for 2020, so the Board is seeking interest from someone around the Club to fill this very important role for our Hoppers kids.
Also special thanks to Sarah Frame who has stood down as Club Welfare Officer as she and her husband Dylan move on from the district. We wish Sarah and Dyl all the very best and thank them for their contributions to the Hoppers.
Congratulations to Bryan Buchanan in his election as President for 2020 and to Mitch Robinson as Director Football Operations. We know you will enjoy the camaraderie and enjoyment that exists on the Hoppers Board.

Several coordination / committee roles were also filled, but several others remain vacant. We are still looking for more people to support the Canteen Committee, Club Social and Promotion and Social Media. More will be communicated about Committee functions in the New Year. If you'd like to put your hand up to contribute to these smaller part time roles, please let us know
