WIN A HILUX. Major Raffle 2024

Well it’s been drawn, we can’t believe the response over the last few weeks to our major fundraiser. Our winner drawn at our Senior Presentation night was Phil Hoey from Wagga -  Ticket Number 185.

Congratulations. Phil drives buses for Allen’s Coaches and I think he is a happy man that Brett talked him into buying a ticket, just the one, and he now has a brand-new Toyota Hilux valued at over $67k. Happy driving Phil!

Our fundraiser commenced in April and we won’t lie, it’s been a slog, some weeks were very quiet on the ticketing front, but our end result was absolutely amazing, around 850 tickets were sold, such a wonderful result for our community club.

Thank you to our small committee that ran this in the background, Fang, Bec and Julie, it’s hard to put a number on the amount of hours spent coordinating this, and getting it up and running, the ticketing and organizing the draw.

To Wayne and the team at Thomas Bros Wagga, you guys have been incredible to deal with!.

Never an issue, so accommodating with all our requests with supplying Utes to us through the season to assist with ticket sales.

To our board who assisted with selling tickets at Henty, finals and other events through the year.

And finally, the biggest thanks goes to anyone who purchased a ticket. You guys may not be driving away in a new ute, but the contribution to our club will be substantial and we are so appreciative of anyone who has supported this fundraiser.
